i recently heard this at CBS:
“in the most mundane of events, God is working.”
i think i needed to hear that.
no, i know that i needed to hear that.
it’s been in my mind ever since.
around here, we’re either
rushing and squeezing
every last drop out of our days
or time is
slowly,
slowly,
oh-so-slowly passing
(always between 5-7pm).
sometimes, my main job is to:
make sure that K doesn’t crack her head open
while trying to jump from the coffee table
to the couch
while helping D get inspired
on what he should
write about,
draw or
build with legos
while little L is
crawling around,
trying to get to his favorite place…
the bathroom.
or while i’m working with him
for the bazillionth time
on improving his
gross,
fine or
speech skills.
but i just need to remember that
“in the most mundane of events, God is working.”
yes, yes He is.
He sure is.
head over to Jennifer’s blog
because you will certainly be able to relate to her.
most certainly.
picture me {im}perfectly
is a weekly project to reveal
that we don’t have it all together.
i will post a
picture me {im}perfectly
blog post every wednesday
where you will be able to link up to your blog
revealing that:
you are not picture perfect,
your kids are not picture perfect,
your house is not picture perfect,
your crafts are not always picture perfect,
let’s
encourage,
inspire and
remind
other women
that none of us have it all together.

Who is weak, and I do not feel weak?
Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?
If I must boast,
I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
