D turned 9
how is this possible?
we got our tree on his birthday
(and his best friend in the whole wide world got to come with us)
and i think it’s our most gorgeous tree yet.
and K was as thrilled as can be
to ride in the back with it.
L was in the CBS
(Community Bible Study)
kids Christmas performance.
when he immediately started crying,
which meant that i got to be in it too!

we’ve been hanging out in our cozy house a lot lately
which has made for some fun times to snap a few shots.
the floor has been permanently covered with toys.
and the camera even got to wear the yellow glasses.
and this read
touched my heart so deeply
as i am constantly distracted by all that must get done
in these next few days before Christmas.
as i’m sure you are, too.
