changes.

so i’m sure you remember my post
about L’s school situation.
and how horrible it was.

well, B and i decided to pull L out of school.
completely.
in actuality, B
has wanted to do this from day one.
but i am a stubborn one
and i always think that
if i can just fix this and that,
that this could be a really good situation
when in actuality
i don’t need to be the one
to fix this or that.
not right now, anyway.

and let me tell you,
it feel so so good.
so very good.
the freedom.
the fun.
the little moments
that were stolen,
lost,
not allowed.
those little moments are back.
they are here for us
to relish
and dive so deeply into.
our life is becoming richer.
as we slow way down
and take a look at what
is really important here.

Teach me your way, O Lord,
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify your name forever.
