picture me {im}perfectly.limitations

the walker has been incredible.

it has allowed L to be upright
without the support of human hands
along with his siblings.

and soon, very, very soon
he will have a walker playdate
with one of his best girlfriends
who is also getting a new walker.

but not soon after we got the walker at home,
L realized that he was still limited.

when we help him walk,
one of his favorite things to do
is to go into the bathroom
and go up the step stool
to the sink.
(what child does not love to play in the sink, i ask you?)

so the very first day with the walker,
L walked to the bathroom and then he
recognized his limitations.
and he stood in the hallway and sobbed.
heartbreaking, i tell you.

life is really good
and really happy
and really full
and really rich
and sometimes, it’s really hard.

but i am comforted in knowing
that this life is not the end of the story.
that there is more.
much, much more
beyond this
sometimes heartbreaking life.
our little L will be made perfect in Heaven.

head over to Tara’s blog

(isn’t that such a gorgeous shot?)
where she revealed how not saying “no”
caused her some stress.
