for the first time
in a long time,
i’m feeling ahead.
albeit slightly.
but still, ahead of the game.
one teensy tiny step ahead
of my always-filled-with-ideas children.
it took three consecutive mornings this week
(thanks to B and my parents)
and a lot of amazon shopping
and enough time to breathe.
and now, i don’t feel
so utterly
and completely
overwhelmed
by
every
single
tiny
aspect
of
life
oh, and this Christmas season.
i hope and pray
that you feel that way, too.
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ,
