the wedding.

i have to announce
my husband’s book!

if you know my husband,
you know that he’s funny.
very, very funny.
his writing is no different.
DON’T MESS WITH TRAVIS
is a hysterical novel.

“Some people might say that Don’t Mess with Travis
is a mix of Carl Hiaasen and George Will.
But it’s more than just a witty blend of larger-than-life characters
and a prescient political narrative:
It’s intelligent satire—true on both the human and policy dimensions—
that would make a great movie.
Bob Smiley is this generation’s Christopher Buckley.”
–Ilya Shapiro, The Cato Institute

finally… the wedding day!

L spent a lot of time in the tub.
he loves bath time
and who could resist that ginormous tub?

after a wonderful breakfast, we headed outside.

this are their angry looks.

hungry?
eat some snow!

and sweet E was there,
not fully prepared
but with a smile on her face.

he didn’t dig the sled ride.
either that or he didn’t like
that his legs were a bit bare!

then the boys got situated
(thanks to my B)
and K got ready with Auntie B
and i headed to the bridal suite to get ready!

Mr. + Mrs. E!

our boys are always up to something funny.

and wouldn’t you believe
that this absolutely gorgeous stump
was brought in from texas?!
they were the talk of the wedding.

and in true Tangled style,
the newlyweds set off lanterns at the end of the wedding.

the first and second instagram shot
were taken by my new brother-in-law
and the third shot was instagrammed
by the amazing wedding photographers.
can’t wait to see all the shots they got.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for
and certain of what we do not see.
