picture me {im}perfectly.disorder

i recently read this verse:

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
1 Corinthians 14:33

and i was immediately convicted.

i really like order.
i like it in my days.
i like it in my home.
i like it in my to do list.

 

 

but this verse is interesting because it says
that God is a God of peace.
and i think that peace is much more attainable
in my days.
in my home.
in my to do list.

than having my home in perfect order.
all the time.

 

but peace is not always what i am striving for.
far too often,
i think that if i get things in order,
then there will be peace.

 

and how i am wrong.
how i am so very wrong.
