when i want to go, we stay.
when i want to walk, we sit.
when i want to meal plan, we take out every. single. toy. from the closet.
and this is good.

good for my heart and for my soul.

when my mind just won’t stop racing
with words and thoughts and ideas,
we find ourselves nowhere near a pen and paper.
and that is also very good.

when i want to be inside,
we go outside and blow bubbles and swing in the hammock.
when i am just trying to do the next thing,
we instead, do this thing right here.
