no matter how you feel
you are loved.
no matter how you feel right now, i want to remind you of three powerful truths.
1. as dear Elisabeth Elliot so often declared:
“You are loved with an everlasting love, and underneath are the everlasting arms”
Jeremiah 31:3 says:
“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
‘I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness’”
2. and how the Jesus Storybook Bible so beautifully reminds us:
“You see no matter what, in spite of everything, God would love his children with a Never-Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love. And though they would forget him, and run from Him, deep in their hearts God’s children would miss Him always, and long for Him — lost children yearning for their home.”
3. i have been thinking a lot about this song sung by Ellie Holcomb, lately. these particular lyrics have especially struck me:
i breathe in, I love You
i breathe out, I love You
i breathe in, I love You
i breathe out, I love You
i breathe in, I love You
i breathe out, I love You
i breathe in, I love You
i breathe out, I love You
we breathe in and God says He loves us.
we breathe out and God says He loves us.
the most important thing right now is that you know how loved you are by God.
may that truth seep deeply into every part of your being.

thank you.
Thank you for this sweet, calming reminder 💛
