gratitude

some moments that have been delighting my heart lately.

legitimately deep and life-giving conversations in the drop off line at school
the opportunity to share with someone the impact they have had on your entire family, as they enter into hospice
being inspired by the words while the boys nap during the rain delayed baseball game
only finding 2 scorpions in the house
not having to move the chair back
this gentle breeze on my back while in the kitchen
being able to witness the very sad chopping down of the pepper tree
a wonderful wonderful walk with a wonderful wonderful friend
hearing how our dreams are similar
and realizing that mine is not too far off from reality
sweating the headache out
how the silent laundry will patiently wait until tomorrow to be folded
my boys being okay (even the pup)
leaning into the slow
a velcro buddy on my errands
running out of errands to run
him transitioning so. very. well
her bright red lipstick and navy dress
texting walks
a girl I can say anything to
a new progression of swan
seeing her be inspired by a ballerina
