picture me {im}perfectly.shoe laces

as you know, D is in kindy this year.
and he loves school.
oh, how he loves it.

he asks me for homework on the weekends
and if i don’t get a chance to give some to him,
he makes up his own.

i am not expecting this same kind of fervor
with my other children.

his teacher requested that all children get lace up shoes,
instead of velcro, so that we did.
(you better bet that this momma

is good at online shopping.)

but you know what i’m not so great at?
teaching him how to tie his laces.
actually, to be honest,
i haven’t even tried.

it’s no that i haven’t thought about it.
no, i think about it nearly every single morning
as we are rushing out of the house
to make it on time for school.
but as any mother knows,
that is not the most optimal time
to teach one how to tie their own laces.

i have it on my list to look up a video on youtube
but again, i haven’t done that, either.

head over to Lindsey’s blog

and read about her struggles right now.
then, say a prayer for her.

picture me {im}perfectly

is a weekly project to reveal that we don’t have it all together.

i will post a

blog post every wednesday

where you will be able to link up to your blog

revealing that:

you are not picture perfect,

your kids are not picture perfect,

your house is not picture perfect,

your crafts are not always picture perfect,

let’s

encourage,

inspire and

remind

other women

that none of us have it all together.

Better one handful with tranquility
than two handfuls with toil
