my heart is so appreciative for the perspective
that this little project brings me.
the sleepless nights,
my own brokenness
and the fragility of the world on display
for all to see
and experience every moment
of every day
has the potential to consume me.
to consume all of us.
but when i look at these pictures
and i reflect upon the year,
upon the teeny tiny moments that get us
to the end of one year and to the beginning of the next,
i am reminded of the hard and holy moments

and all those other things fade to the background.
and what actually matters shines through.
for i am a light finder.
