we successfully made it through
all five of our lovely celebrations.
they were all so different from each other
but still so special.
this year though, i melted down before christmas
which was different than in years past
where i typically melt down
around christmas number three or four.
but i’ve been thinking about
all that is required for the holidays
and i don’t think that a successful december
would be one without reaching that moment
of utter despair and
total and complete exhaustion.
because it is in those moments
that we recognize how desperately we are all
in need of a Savior.
now let us head into the new year
not forgetting our true need for Jesus.
