masks.

we just went to the most amazing party.

it was a black tie birthday party
at B’s mom’s house
and everyone had to wear masks.

now of course, we couldn’t just buy our masks.
they had to be hand-made.
but i’m not the creative one in this family.
B is.

and so he made these most amazing masks.
out of comics.
of course.

here’s the birthday boy and Glammy
(which is what D used to call her).

good friends came to join in on the fun.

and Aunt MK and Uncle C looked fabulous.

and we drank wine that was nearly as old as i
that the birthday boy had been saving
for this very occasion.

and yes, it tasted like wine.

what a fun and memorable night it was.

Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
Psalm 37:5-6
