the littles and me.

it’s {embrace} the camera day!

it seemed only fitting to include a photo of L and me this week.

and surprisingly, the first two were taken by sweet K,
who was actually being really sweet.

i am living out what my faith really means.
especially this week.
and as a sweet friend reminded me,
i am making an intentional choice to do this.
an intentional choice to
resist fear
and to
resist worry.
and an intentional choice to hope in the Living God.

And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings,
because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
perseverance, character; and character, hope.
And hope does not disappoint us,
because God has poured out his love into our hearts
by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

  1. looks like K has her Moma's talent with the camera!! Mr. L looks healthy and happy 🙂 Praise God.

  2. sweet pictures! can someone pls tell me where people are getting all this sunshine?! we haven't seen any in weeks!

  3. Those pictures are amazing… considering the little lady behind the camera. And even I think the third on a timer. I love that you guys look so happy. And I love that scripture from Romans. It's so true, if we just rest in it. You are growing stronger in your faith and in your relationship with Him through this trial. Many blessings. Oh if only we had more time to actually see each other, I'd have you teach me your timer trick. I don't think it would ever work for me. 😉

i always love your inspirational words of faith. I also love "L's" eyes, what a dreamboat.

  5. I'm starting to think that L really looks like you. That first picture, especially. Keep choosing not fear. Like it or not, you are a role model for so many of us.

  6. you are so pretty….as well as your children. how scary that must have been but i'm praising Jesus that your little guy is OK. great pictures…..love them all 🙂

  7. I admire your faith. I too, struggle with fear and worry. Thankful for the hope I have in God. Lovely pictures, and awesome blog. I love reading it!
